The Trust

FET is an Academy Sponsor situated in Bradford, borne out of the incredible success of Feversham Academy.

Our mission is simple: to provide the best quality of education in a secure learning environment.

iExel Education Trust is dedicated to improving the life chances of all learners.

To provide the best quality of education for all our learners within a secure learning environment.

We will do this by:

  • Providing outstanding leadership and educational services that will improve the lives of young learners in our ever changing and complex society.
  • Setting standards of excellence in teaching and learning through the implementation of a well-designed and bespoke curriculum.
  • Having high expectations of all our learners in standards of achievement, behaviour and school attendance.
  • Creating an environment that respects and values the dignity, integrity and special needs of all our learners regardless of age, race, religion and gender.
  • Providing a caring and supporting environment for all our learners to develop academically, morally, spiritually and socially.
  • Creating environments where quality relationships are developed between all who work and participate in the community.
  • Creating an awareness, commitment and sense of responsibility amongst our learners with regards to local, national and global issues.

Just as every learner is unique we believe every school is also unique. Our school improvement model will be tailored to individual needs.

The Trust will offer:

  • A curriculum that will ensure all learners from all backgrounds will be challenged intellectually and stimulated morally. The curriculum will ensure successful transition for learners throughout their school life and their move to an appropriate career progression.

  • Wide and stimulating enrichment programmes.
  • Robust governance and leadership underpinned by high level accountability at all levels including; teaching & learning, financial management and continuous professional development.

About our trust

Feversham Education Trust (FET) is relentless in its drive to provide outstanding education in a secure learning environment for all learners.

We are a not-for-profit organisation with the aim of providing quality support and challenge to ensure outstanding outcomes for all learners in our schools.

We are fully committed to ensuring that all learners in all our schools regardless of their background or starting points achieve their true potential.

Our school improvement model is bespoke, recognising that just as every single learner is unique so are our schools and communities.

By working together, aligned in our vision, values, trust and commitment there really is nothing we cannot achieve.

Feversham Secondary Academy

Feversham Academy was established in 1984 as an Independent Muslim girl’s school with approximately 24 pupils on roll. In 2001 the school joined the state sector as a voluntary aided school before converting to Academy status in 2011. The school now has a PAN of 120 in all year groups and will have an expected 840 on roll by 2016 (including sixth form).

Feversham Academy has consistently ranked in the first percentile in the country for value added.

In 2011 we opened Feversham First Steps Nursery, rated outstanding by Ofsted in the same year. The nursery now has more than a hundred 0 – 5 year olds on roll and continues to thrive as a beacon of best practice.

Feversham Academy was awarded teaching school status in 2012 and we have an established legal partnership with Skipton Girls High School for both our Teaching Schools; Northern Lights Teaching School Alliance. We work with over 20 key partners on improving outcomes for learners, leadership development and recruitment of teachers.

Feversham Academy is also a National Support School, the Headteacher being a National Leader of Education.

We are driven by a moral imperative, every child deserves the highest quality of education, pupils only get one chance.

Bronte Girls' Academy

Our proposal for an 11-16 girls Free School with a four form entry called Bronte Girls Academy (BGA) has been approved and we hope to open our doors in September 2019.

We are delighted to announce that in collaboration with the DfE and the ESFA, a site has now been secured for the new Bronte Girls Academy free school. The new secondary academy will be located in BD4 and will be built on the now empty Future House office grounds. The Free School will serve  the surrounding community, offering 600 student places and will be open for the start of the 2019 academic year.

FET is currently working on the design of the school as well as the education program from the ground up, based on the most current research on how students learn best. It is a very exciting time for the Trust as we can now see all our hard work from the vision of the initial Free School bid to the reality of creating the actual finished product coming to fruition.
